Lauren Larin, Sr. Policy Analyst, Homebase
As a Sr. Policy Analyst at Homebase, Lauren Larin provides technical assistance and policy support to communities to facilitate their work to end homelessness. She facilitates community meetings, conducts stakeholder and constituency outreach and engagement, and supports development activities. She also engages in research and analysis, supports program evaluation, conducts presentations and trainings, and develops a wide range of materials to support best practice policy and programming. Prior to joining Homebase, Lauren worked for over a decade creating, managing, and evaluating programs at a variety of nonprofits in the youth development, economic justice, and criminal justice fields. She also wrote her doctoral dissertation on grassroots responses to the criminalization of homelessness. Lauren holds a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of California, Berkeley and a PhD in Urban Studies from Portland State University.
