Maddie Nation, Policy Analyst, Homebase
As a Policy Analyst at Homebase, Maddie Nation (she/her) provides communities across the country with technical assistance and research around state and federal programs and grants, best practices for responding to homelessness, and systems for improving services and programs for clients. Through her work with Homebase’s Peer Communities initiative, Maddie has organized regular peer learning calls focused on supporting rural and semi-rural communities in responding to the dual crises of homelessness and COVID-19. She has also facilitated conversations focused on adopting housing-focused, low-barrier non-congregate shelter models in several communities located in the western United States.
